Natural Anodised Finish
Aluminium is a corrosion resistant metal due to its ability to naturally form a film of aluminium oxide on its surface when exposed.
Anodising is an applied finish through an electro-chemical process that thickens the natural oxide film on the Aluminium giving the metal surfaces extreme hardness, and resistance to corrosion and wear.
Natural anodised finish conforms to British Standard 1615:1972 and is available in nominal film thickness of 10, 15, 20 and 25 microns.
Recommended film thickness is 10 microns for normal and 25 microns for corrosive atmospheric conditions respectively.
